Mark started MBA Financial Strategists as a small financial planning practice in 1985 on King William Road in Unley. MBA FS has grown to a business that now employs over 20 people and is regarded as one of AMP’s leading financial planning practices nationally. In 2016 and 2017, MBA FS was recognised for its achievements in best practice and client service by being named AMP Financial Planning’s Practice of the Year in SA/NT.  In addition, the practice was named as one of only three finalists in the national 2017 Financial Planning Association (FPA) Award for Professional Practice of the Year.  Also in 2017 six MBA FS financial advisers were added to the Most Trusted Advisers Network – an independent website and initiative of the Beddoes Institute as a way of connecting consumers with professional, high quality financial advisers.  Click here for a summary of the Beddoes client survey results.

Mark’s overriding focus is to provide holistic, professional financial planning advice to a wide range of clients, tailored to suit their individual situations and help them reach their goals at every stage of life.

Mark himself has been recognised over the years for delivering best practice advice for his clients and in 2017 he was added to the Most Trusted Adviser Network and in 2015 was shortlisted for the Financial Planning Association CFP® Professional of the Year award. He recently moved into the newly created position of general manager of MBA Financial Strategists, allowing him to oversee his team of professional financial advisers and provide strategic direction and further growth for the business.

Mark is an authorised representative and credit representative of AMP Financial Planning Pty Limited and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a specialist in self- managed superannuation funds and investor-directed portfolio services.

Mark is also a media spokesperson for AMP Financial Planning, providing regular commentary on personal finance in print and electronic media nationally.
