Brian Lynch

I grew up in the US and came to Adelaide in 1993 where I married my partner, Karen. I enjoy spending time with our three children and also run in my spare time. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Philosophy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Winconsin, a Master of Visual Arts degree from the University of South Australia and the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). I have been a financial planner since 2001 and also enjoy helping the community. I have helped to raise funds with the AMP Foundation for the Helpmann Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts and the Blind Sporting Council in South Australia.

What do I enjoy about financial planning?

I enjoy the challenge of being a financial planner and seeing people achieve financial success. As Mark Twain said, "Plan for the future because that's where you are going to spend the rest of your life." We help people solve their financial problems, build their wealth and prepare them for the future. Being prepared is key, as the Chinese proverb instructs, "Dig a well before you are thirsty."

Something you don’t know about me ...

I have run in the City to Bay for years and have competed in the City of Surf in Sydney. I have also cycled much of the West Coast of the United States and Colorado. I am also a foundation donor to the UniSA South Australian School of Art – Post-Graduate Travel Award.
